A LITTLE FASHION, A LOT OF ADVENTURE
Gypsy Wind Clothing Company began in 2008 when Oregon native Janet Kronemeyer traded her career in real estate for a new adventure in women's fashion.
What started as a small boutique in Cottage Grove, Oregon, soon became a journey that would take Janet and her husband, Tony, from the tropical shores of Hawaii to the colorful streets of Mexico, the sunshine of Arizona, and eventually back home to Oregon.
With every new destination came fresh inspiration, unique clothing lines, and wonderful people along the way. Gypsy Wind truly lived up to its name!
Eventually, the winds brought Janet and Tony to Sisters, Oregon, where they found the perfect place to put down roots and continue doing what they love.
A LITTLE FAITH, A BIGGER DREAM
Sometimes the most beautiful things happen when you least expect them.
As Gypsy Wind grew, so did Janet's dream of creating a larger, more welcoming space for her curvy clothing collection. What began as a small dedicated boutique deserved room to grow into something truly special.
Janet had her heart set on a storefront across from Dixie's. She prayed about it, put her dreams out into the universe, and trusted that the right opportunity would come.
But God works in mysterious ways!
When the storefront right next door became available, everything fell into place. Instead of moving across the street, Janet was able to expand right where she was.
Today, Gypsy Wind Clothing and Gypsy Wind Curvy are two beautiful adjoining boutiques, bringing Janet's vision to life and creating a shopping experience where every woman can feel welcome, confident, and beautiful.
